The technical principle of 3D printer

3D printer is also called a three-dimensional printer (3DP), is a kind of cumulative manufacturing technology, rapid prototyping technology, a machine, it is a digital model file based on the use of special wax, powder metal or plastic and other fusible materials, by printing a layer of adhesive material to create three-dimensional objects. At this stage the three-dimensional printer is used to make products. The technique of structuring an object in a layered manner. The principle of 3D printer is to put the data and raw materials into the 3D printer, the machine will be in accordance with the program to create a layer of product.

The biggest difference between a 3D printer and a traditional printer is that it uses "ink" as a solid raw material, with a wide variety of layers, which can be used to print a variety of media, from a wide variety of plastics to metals, ceramics and rubber. Some printers also combine different media, making the printed object hard and soft at the other end.

1. Some 3D printers use the "inkjet" approach. Even if a very thin liquid plastic material is sprayed on the mould tray with a printer nozzle, the coating is then disposed under ultraviolet light. After that, the die tray drops a tiny distance for the next layer to stack up.

2. Others use a technique called "melt forming", where the whole process is to melt the plastic in the nozzle and then form a thin layer by depositing the plastic fibers.

3. Some systems use a technique called "laser sintering", using powder particles as print media. Powder particles are sprayed on the mold tray to form a very thin layer of powder, cast into the specified shape, and then from the liquid-sprayed adhesive to solidify.

4. Some use the electron flow in the vacuum to melt the powder particles, and when confronted with complex structures such as holes and cantilever, the medium requires adding gels or other substances to provide support or to occupy space. This part of the powder will not be cast, and finally only water or air to wash off the support can form pores.
